I have no words to describe the way I feel about this doggy. Her name is Mocha. Does love even cover it? She needs a new home and we told the girl who had her that we would like to try her over the weekend to see how we get along. She is a dear animal, not perfect, but dear.

How did my life get here, please tell me. I am realizing that the person I used to be has faded into a shadow of the person I am. I am nobody I would want to know, I am boring. I love animals, yet I have no pets. I love mountains, I live on the prairie. Everything I do, I do to please someone other than me. I am nobody. I have no life other than to cook and clean. My family lives 1000 miles away. I do have 3 beautiful sweet daughters…

We saw “Up” last night. It was excellent! It was creative, funny and full of adult wisdom and little kid antics. A must see, for sure!

We visited a farm yesterday and Jewel became the unfortunate target of a llama’s dislike. She was shot with a stream of llama saliva and I do not think she will soon forget this incident. :)

Well, we’re back and in full swing. I did not see any of my friends in Tennessee which was disappointing but I did spend a lot of quality time with my family who I love very much. I miss all of you!!!

Children look to us as a main source of vital information about the world and about spiritual things. Don’t let Christ’s birth celebration turn into a Santa Clause shenanigan. I believe trust can easily be broken between a parent and a child. If you never give a child a reason to doubt you, he won’t. This may not be an issue until they are much older, but a teen needs to be able to trust his parents. Don’t be a lier to your children, even in the spirit of fun and “magic.”
