I am a Christian wife and home schooling mother of three daughters. I am into clean living and I admire the Weston Price Foundation. http://www.westonaprice.org/

I am from upper east Tennessee. I love the area. My family and friends are there and I grew up there amidst the most beautiful mountains you have ever seen. I miss those mountains! I don't miss the snobs and rednecks though. For some reason, the area is full of extremists who don't want anything to do with each other. I was born into the old money snobs. I had no choice about it. That was my group. My parents were friends with certain people and I was expected to be friends with their children. Even as an adult, I still belong to this group of friends. If I were to move back, those would be the poelpe who would accept me. The rednecks keep to themselves. They do not want to mix in with the snobs. They are "too good" for the crowd I belonged to. I tried to blend in with different groups in school but you can never truly break free from you "group." You will never be completely accepted outside of it. I call it the land of snobs and rednecks. Please don't misunderstand me. I am not looking down on the group I call the redneck group. I just wonder why we can't all get along. You also notice exclusivity at the church. It is hard to make friends at church there. There are "clicks." That SHOULD NOT be! That is one place where I think everyone should reach out in acceptance to all.
