    The National Story Telling Festival

    We attending the National Story Telling Festival in Jonesborough, TN yesterday with my mom and dad.  Did you know they charge more than 100.00 for a ticket?  It was very crowded and I wondered how so many people could afford to attend this event.  We had 2 complimentary passes which we shared.  It was a wonderful event but the tents were overcrowded.  You would think for 100.00+ for a ticket, they could afford bigger tents and more chairs.  Jane and I ended up sitting on the pavement to listen outside the tent.  The speaker was hilarious and I immensely enjoyed her tales, though I think they were a bit old for my children.  All in all we had a great time being with family in a wonderful, historic city.
